Sh. Parkash Chand Rana

Born on 12th May, 1979 at village Kotla, P.O. Chimanoo, Tehsil Joginder Nagar, District Mandi (HP). Studied up to 8th class in Govt. Model School situated in Langna, Tehsil Joginder Nagar, District-Mandi (HP). Thereafter, shifted to Chandigarh and studied in D.A.V. Senior Secondary School, Sector 8-C, Chandigarh. Did B.A. and L.L.B from Punjab University at Chandigarh. Also did one year ADCP (Advance Diploma in Computer Programming) from C-DAC. From 2005 onwards, practiced law in the Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court and District Courts, Chandigarh, respectively up till 23rd October, 2019. Thereafter, I joined on 24th October, 2019 as Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Bareilly after securing 1st position in U.P. Higher Judicial Services 2018 (Part-II). In the mean time, I got selected in H.P. Higher Judicial Services by securing 1st position, as such, resigned on 21st December, 2019 from Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Bareilly in U.P. and joined services on 27th December, 2019 (A.N) at H.P. Judicial Academy, Shimla. I assumed the charge of the office/Court of Addl. District & Sessions Judge, Chamba on 12.01.2021 till 05.08.2021 (AF). Remained posted as Additional District and Judge Fast Track POCSO Court, Kangra at Dharamshala from 12.08.2021 to 02.12.2021. Served as Additional District and Sessions Judge-III, Kangra at Dharamshala w.e.f 02.12.2021 uptill 22.01.2023, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Palampur w.e.f 23.01.2023 (A.N) to 29.03.2023 (A.N), Additional District and Sessions Judge-I, Mandi w.e.f 31-03-2023 (F.N) to 04.05.2024 (A.N) and Additional District and Sessions Judge, Paonta Sahib w.e.f 08.05.2024 (A.N) to 05.11.2024 (A.N). On placement, transferred and posted as District and Sessions Judge, Kullu and joined as such on 06.11.2024 (AN).
